Eric Riddles brings decades of hands-on automotive experience to Riddles Automotive Solutions. After graduating from Hickman High School, Eric began his career at Joe Machens Ford as a lube technician and quickly advanced into import warranty repairs for brands such as Audi, BMW, and Porsche. He later transitioned into a Ford line technician role, where he deepened his skills in diagnostics, repairs, and advanced automotive systems.

Eric went on to work in an independent shop in Columbia, handling line work, radiator repairs, and restoration-fabrication projects. During this time, he pursued VISION Hi-Tech Training and evening automotive classes, earning multiple ASE certifications. Within a few years, Eric achieved ASE Master Technician status, including advanced certifications in Engine Repair and Engine Performance. His experience includes working with Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Mazda, and other complex manufacturers.

In 2005, supported by his family and motivated by a desire to help fill the industry’s technician shortage, Eric transitioned into teaching high school automotive technology. Teaching required a deeper understanding of vehicle systems, reinforcing his expertise and strengthening his ability to explain complex concepts clearly. After ten successful years in education, he returned to the shop environment—this time at the front desk—where he combines his extensive technical knowledge with outstanding customer communication.

Today, Eric uses his unique blend of professional experience, teaching background, and diagnostic skill to help customers understand their vehicles and the importance of proper maintenance. His mission is simple: provide honest guidance, accurate repairs, and a customer experience built on trust and transparency.
